In my opinion, a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness 2 of the greatest bands at the top venue in the country. The capacity crowd didn't seem to care about the heavy rain pouring down. .38 Special opened the show, which was a delightful surprise. Styx took the stage after .38 Special, with the rain still falling. Tommy Shaw slipped on the wet stage but managed to save his guitar and continued performing like a true professional. The rain stopped during the set changes, and the crowd was excited when The Blues Project came on to close the show. Overall, it was an incredible performance, and I hardly noticed the heavy rain that persisted for most of the night. As always, you can't go wrong at Red Rocks.
